So what's with the name?

Good question, that's what everybody asks! Not sure really, Corinne wanted a name that wasn't a stereotypical accountant-y type of name and was memorable.  
And no, she wasn't drinking at the time!

Yes! It probably isn't as complicated as you think, and we have many years of accounting and tax experience.

Are after hours appointments possible?

Sure are! We work Saturdays and weekday nights by prior arrangement, and at no extra cost!

What do I need to do before coming for the first time?

All you need to do is make a booking here! We'll send you a form to collect your personal details and go from there!

My tax return will be different this year, can I come to you for just one year only and then go back to completing myself?

Absolutely! We are happy to help you out in just the one year that you need help with. You might even decide to stay with us as we make the whole process simple and easy.

What are your qualifications and experience?

Both Leanne and Corinne have worked in public practice since graduating. That's over 40 years of combined experience (we're old!!). We are both Chartered Accountants and Corinne is a registered tax agent.

How long will it take to receive my tax refund?

Accepted Answer

The Australian Taxation Office typically issues your tax refund within 14 days of lodgement. Please remember to tell us if you need to update your bank details with us, so that there is no delay in your refund being issued.

Can you visit my business and help me on-site?

Yes! In fact, we like visiting client's premises as it really helps us to understand your business better. Whatever works for you!

Do you do audits?

No sorry, we don't.

Can you help me with my BAS?

Accepted Answer

Sure! We are happy to teach you how to prepare and lodge it yourself, or we can lodge your prepared BAS, or we can do the whole lot!

Question 11

Do you prepare financial statement and income returns for self managed superannuation funds (SMSFs)?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, no. We can, however, still look after your personal or other entity taxation matters and then liaise with your SMSF accountant and auditor.

What accounting software do you recommend?

Accepted Answer

We are familiar with most accounting software options, and recommend you choose one that fits your needs, industry and budget. We prefer Xero.
